Regional IT-BPO Career Fairs aimed at next generation Sri Lankan workforce is a joint effort of the Private Sector and Government of Sri Lanka. While it is initaited through the ICTA ICBP program, success is largely dependant on the focus and contribution from the Sri Lankan IT-BPO industry. This was proven during the IT-BPO Career Fair 2007 held at BMICH, which was an outstanding success. Now we need to join hands to take that success outside of Colombo to various regions in Sri Lanka. The idea of the event is to get the IT BPO industry to assist in various ways and volunteer their staff to provide career guidance at the 8 regional career fair events.
