IT-BPO Career Guidance at Jaffna, Vembadi Girls School

Nearly 20 industry volunteers had traveled from Colombo to team up with the industry volunteers and Ministry of Education representatives from Jaffna to impart there experience and knowledge to guide the students of Jaffna peninsula in there future career paths. More than 4000 students from Vavuniya, Mannar, Killinochchi and Jaffna were hurrying down the gates of the Vembady Girls school during the 3 days of the Career guidance program with much enthusiasm to learn about the upcoming industry opportunities.

The students sat through a 1 hours seminar conducted by industry personnel not much older to the participants who introduced the IT-BPO industry and the opportunities available.

Then they proceeded to career counseling which was a learning experience for both the counselor and those who got counseled.
